Loving Beyond

Aside from the love of God, one of the most important types of love is self love.  So often people profess a love for themselves, but when put to the test they fail tremendously. In order to have a successful relationship with oneself,  you must learn to love yourself unconditionally and beyond all circumstances.

The term loving yourself beyond, means to love yourself outside of yourself, forming an unbreakable barrier of strength founded in self love.  This love must exist beyond the circumstances in your life. Meaning, you must create a love for yourself strong enough to withstand the pain of disappointment, the anger of regret, the feeling of being overlooked, unappreciated, inadequate, etc.  If you do not learn to love yourself beyond these situations, you are basically giving the enemy an easy attack route.  There are many people in life, that knowingly or unknowingly, seek out weaknesses in others. They will find or create character flaws within a person, to create an opening to gain access to their mind, their heart or both.  Once this is done, they play on your weakness until it begins to consume you, giving them full access and reign over your feelings of self worth.

If you have allowed this to happen to you, it is not too late to correct the situation. Gain control and start the journey to take back over your life today! 

Today my voices are loving…loving all that is me, was me and shall be me. And I ask that you do the same! It is imperative that you LOVE YOURSELF BEYOND! This is one of the most important foundations in building a better you.

YOLO as a Motto? Really?

How long does it take to blink your eyes? A nanosecond...or a second if your really sleepy right? Lol. When thinking in general one may think not much can happen in a second. But you couldn't be further from wrong if you feel this way. One second is all it takes to change your life for better or worse. A second can make the difference in a wrong or right decision, a life or death situation and a second is also the difference in being on time and being late.

My point is, time is one of the most precious gifts that we have been given so use it wisely.  A lot of you young people that read my blog may live your life by Drake's saying "YOLO, You Only Live Once" but don't forget to take in to consideration your situation and Drake's. Drake is a rich entertainer that's always traveling so its easy for him to lose track of time. But you my friend (no matter how major you are in your mind) are not famous. And each day is a chance for a do over!  Each day gives you a chance to use those seconds in that day to the best of your ability...and if you fail, you are blessed to see another day to try and conquer the next day. Do not waste your life away living reckless by the YOLO motto. You may not have more than one life, but what you do have is a chance to live life in a different way each second of every day that you are alive!.

Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Tonight my voices are praying. Praying and believing in the power of God and his ability to restore life and joy in every deserving and nondeserving person out there.

Figure it Out!!

I don’t want to lose myself in love

I want to become one with love and gain multiple perspectives on life!

I don’t want to get caught up in what society thinks

I want to uphold the values that I was taught and the life lessons I’ve learned along the way!

I don’t want to take on some one else’s opinion

I want to know who I am, except it and perfect it!

I don’t want to follow the next man’s dream

I want to have my own vision, have faith that it’s obtainable but also realize fame isn’t for everyone!

My point is, I know who I am, I know where I’ve been and I have no idea where I’m headed, but that’s okay with me. Because I know that through whatever trials I may face from this day forward, I’m doing it with my head held high, God on my side and faith that everything will work out in my favor. I try my best to live my life in a way that is pleasing to me…when I say this I don’t mean that no on else matters, I’m saying that I never forget that I am the one that has to live with the decisions I make so I try to make them count. I fall short many times because I'm human but it doesn't mean that the intentions of my heart have changed.

If you left this life without writing an autobiography what would your book read?

Figure out who you are, let go of who you were, learn to love and appreciate what you have at this very moment! And have faith that the future will work itself out when it becomes the present! Things happen too fast and circumstances change in the twinkling of an eye so make sure to make the best of the time you have left on earth.
